Diane Massad

Diane Massad has combined her lifelong involvement in teaching with her ability to evaluate the developing movement skills of youngsters. In her work with the U.S. Olympic Committee as an international official in rhythmic gymnastics, Diane deals with the elite athletes of the United States. Additionally, she has served on the Women's Technical Committee for the U.S. Gymnastics Federation. Diane has also served as a judging education

Kidskills owner and educator

In her home state of Ohio, Diane has taught secondary physical education and health education. As a frequent state presenter for the Ohio Association for PE, HE and Dance, she has shared her enthusiasm for Olympism as well as provided educators with rhythmic gymnastics experiences. In 2006, Diane participated in the International Olympic Committee's Fifth World International Forum for Sports, Education and Culture in Beijing, China.

Her research in movement education has ranged from the Scandinavian schools, incorporated British and Canadian theories, analyzed the Japanese pedagogical system, drawn strongly upon the Germanic heritage of American physical education. With her constant travel and lecturing, her programs are continually being refined to complement contemporary America educational approaches in both the Sciences and the Arts.

She has authored a six-part KidSKILLS training series for parents of preschoolers as well as for use in preschool facilities. She offers a series of videos and training products to encourage skill practice for the preschoolers under the guidance of a caregiver or parent. Based on scientific information, KidSKILLS provides clients and students with effective strategies and advice. KidSKILLS helps the families clarify appropriate goals and inspires good use of recreational time.
